Julian Baldino (2025)

Julian was the first kid to walk in the door at this showcase and I was impressed by his maturity. He asked great questions about how the event worked. He measured 6-2 in his shoes and has good quickness. His skillset allows him to play the point guard and 2 guard position. His handles are above average, he had good court vision and shot the ball well at the showcase in both 3v3 and 5v5 scrimmages. He also finished in the top 1/3 of our 3pt contest making 14 in 60 seconds. His communication skills were ELITE and physically he is going to be able to endure the college grind. At times he could be a little more aggressive on both ends. I saw him pass up some scoring opportunities and he could have taken advantage of his quickness defensively.

Brandon Hight (2025)

Brandon missed his Junior and Senior year due to broken bones and in the process grew almost a foot. He is now 6-7, has above average ball skills, passes like a guard, and shoots it well. At the showcase, he showed a high basketball IQ, made 3's off the bounce and by spotting up. He plays more like a guard than a post player. Brandon is a smart defender.  He had a 4.0 GPA in high school. Overall, I highly think Brandon's ceiling is one of the best at the showcase and he will benefit from a coach that can develop players. With the right Juco he could develop into a low-major Division 1 player.

Cooper Wood (2025)

Cooper is a springy guard that shoots well from 3. More effective as a spot up shooter than off the dribble but capable of getting down hill and to the rim. Good perimeter defender. He did struggle at the showcase with stamina in the individual 1 v 1 drills but was effective in the team sessions.

Leonardo Higgins (2025)

Higgins was  very solid around the basket. Finished with his left and right hands effectively. Made contact on box-outs and rebounded at a high rate. Defended with pressure and altered a few shots.

Dax Godsey (2026)

A pure shooter with good range. Dax hit 17 3's in our 60 second shooting drill, to lead all attendees at our June Showcase.  In addition,  his team won the 3v3 session at our showcase. A good defender in space and adequate ball handler. Struggles at times against more physical players but has a frame that could allow him to add muscle during the offseason. Hope to see him at another showcase with that improvement.  Overall, he was one of top competitors at the event. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Dax Godsey is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Kooper Crawford (2026)

Starting since his sophomore season (4A classification), Kooper is a versatile player that contributes from multiple positions on his high school team and projects to be a 2/or 3 at the next level. A 6'4 slasher that can cover a lot of ground, tracks the ball well off the rim and takes a lot of pride in rebounding. He is an A+ defender with a high motor. Right now, he is an average shooter from the perimeter but makes up for it with relentless effort and ability to get to the rim. He was one of the best defenders at the showcase and was able to defend multiple positions before sustaining a minor muscle strain that limited his mobility in the evening session. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Kooper Crawford is ranked and what our scouts have written about them..

Travion Hicks (2026)

Tra performed well in the individual drills at the showcase. Extremely fast with the ball in his hands. A smooth strider that can pull down rebounds and lead a fast break. At 6'3 with a 6'5 wingspan, he defends well on the perimeter and in open space. He seems to be a young man with high character, that is humble and extremely coachable. His shot is a little unorthodox but hit several 3's and mid-range contested jumpers during the 5v5 sessions. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Travion Hicks is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Karson Johnson (2026)

Karson was one of the best shooters in our Tulsa Showcase, especially from 3 point range, hitting 14 3's in 60 seconds. He is an accurate spot up shooter with good range. At 6'1 and strong frame, he is able to bully smaller defenders in the paint. His team won the 3v3 session at our showcase. Karson is an average ball handler and struggled when facing pressure. I would like for him to improve in this area of his game by the next time we see him at our showcase. Karson has a chance to be a really good collegiate player. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Karson Johnson is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Tyler Kelsey (2026)

If we were handling out Most Improved Player Awards, Tyler would have earned it. At 6'5 with a powerful frame, he can over power defenders in the paint. He has good touch around the rim, was a physical rebounder, and an altered shots around the rim. He was able to hit several mid-range shots in the 3 v 3 and 5 v 5 sessions. He showed great work ethic and was very coachable.  His team won the 3v3 session at our showcase. I would like to see him improve his lateral mobility and overall foot quickness. Overall, he has a very good mid-range and brings physical presence that teams need.  Subscribe to WER+ to see where Tyler Kelsey is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Austin Eastman (2027)

Eastman has great  potential as a shooting guard. Has 3 point range and quick enough with the ball to get to the paint. Used shooting to make plays for others. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Austin Eastman is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Zach Renfroe (2027)

Zach was an active leader on the floor.  He was a legitimate point guard/ floor general that lead his teams in the 5 v 5 sessions.  He plays with the right pace, finds the the open players because of court vision and above average passing skill set. Zach was able to keep the defense honest with his above average shooting as well. He was the winner of the 60 second lay-up drill.  Renfroe will be able to lead a winning college program in the future.  Subscribe to WER+ to see where Zach Renfroe is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Owen Hay (2027)

Hay was one of the better overall performers at the showcase.  6'0 guard that can shoot from deep or beat you off the bounce. Owen tied for 2nd in our 60 second shooting drill by hitting 14 3's. He has adequate range and handles . He is projected to be a 2G at the next level. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Owen Hay is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Logan Thompson (2027)

Logan did a lot of good things at our event. Looks like a good player with a slender 6'3 frame and high arching shot. Shot the ball consistently from all 3 levels. He was an effective shot blocker (blocking several in the team session) and rebounder. Overall, he needs to speed more time getting stronger as he got pushed around in the paint at times.  Subscribe to WER+ to see where Logan Thompson is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Kyle Sutherland (2028)

High IQ player who is very crafty on the perimeter. He showed multiple moves to create space for his shot. Has a good mid-range game and played hard on the defensive end. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Kyle Sutherland is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Jose Manzano (2028)

A  dynamic transition player who utilizes a variety of moves to attack the basket. Was relentless on defense and applied full court pressure on the ball. Showed the ability to initiate contact getting to the rim. Jose demonstrates a stronger awareness on the defensive end. In addition, I would like to see him improve his outside shooting by the next evaluation. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Jose Manzano is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Cameron Carroll (2028)

Showed incredible activity throughout the day. Good shooter. Ran the floor hard and moved well without the ball. Showed a great understanding of half-court defense. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Cameron Carroll is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Zacary Longan (2028)

Zac has great shot mechanics, quick release, and excellent range. He hit multiple deep contested 3's during our recent showcase.  As of right now, he is an average ball handler which causes him to struggle with pressure at times. Zac was one of the youngest attendees at the showcase so he has time to improve this area of his game. Good frame for a 15 year old and he is a coaches kid with good basketball IQ. He is coachable and has an even demeanor. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Zacary Longan is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Trey Southward (2028)

Trey was extremely active on both ends of the floor.  Understands the game from the offensive and defensive side of things. Shot when left open, attacked the rim when pressured. He helped his 3 v 3 and 5 v 5 teams by scoring on all three levels. Was positive to teammates throughout the showcase and proved to be extremely coachable. Trey has a bright future if he continues to stay in the gym and work on his game. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Trey Southward is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.

Michael Kesner (2031)

Michael was the youngest player at the showcase but did not back down. He demonstrated strong communication skills on the floor. He was not afraid to compete. He aggressively attacked the basketball from multiple angles and played solid perimeter defense. Subscribe to WER+ to see where Michael Kesner is ranked and what our scouts have written about them.
