POLL NOTES:

Top-ranked Georgia survived Auburn's upset bid on the road. Texas roared past Kansas in the second half in Austin. Ohio State and Florida State were both idle Saturday.

 

The Pac-12 led all leagues with five teams in the poll followed by the Big Ten and the SEC with three each. The Big 12 and ACC had two apiece and the Independents one.

ABOUT THE WORLD EXPOSURE REPORT TOP 25 POLL:

The WER TOP 25 Poll was established at the conclusion of the 2018 season. Voters rank the top 25 teams in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision, and the results will be released every Sunday of the 2023 season. The first regular season poll will be released on Tuesday, Sept. 5 (to account for Labor Day games), and the final poll will be released Sunday, Dec. 3.
