The 2023 NJCAA Division 1 World Exposure Report Women’s College Head Coach of the Year Award finalists were announced today by World Exposure Report and include MJ Baker (Eastern Florida State), Jeff Jenkins (Blinn), Landon Steele (Dodge City) and James Frey (South Georgia Tech).

MJ Baker, Eastern Florida State
MJ Baker has led the Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball program to the national spotlight, completing her second straight unbeaten conference season and made history by making it to the NJCAA Division I National Tournament last season. This season she is 29-1 after winning in the state tournament quarterfinals Wednesday and has the team ranked No. 2 in the NJCAA Division I poll
James Frey, South Georgia Tech
Coach James Frey is in his 11th year as Head Coach of the South Georgia Technical College Lady Jets. In those 11 years he has amassed 304 wins to only 60 losses. In the current season, under Coach Frey’s direction, the Lady Jets currently have a 31-1 record, losing only the very first game of the season. he team has been at the #1 ranking in the NJCAA Women’s DI poll for the last 5 consecutive weeks and will be returning to the NJCAA Tournament for the 9th time in Coach Frey’s 11 year tenure.
