NICEVILLE, Fla. – Four Northwest Florida State softball student-athletes have earned postseason honors.
Gabrielle Fischetti (first team), Abby Sulte (second team), and Amber Divine (second team) were named FCSAA All-State, while Fischetti (first team), Sulte (first team) and Lele Martinez (second team) earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region accolades.
Fischetti finished fourth in Region VIII with 19 double and 10th with 49 runs batted in. The Pittsburgh native led the team with a .467 batting average.
Sulte hit a Region VIII-best 20 home runs and drove in 67 runs, second-most in the region. She led the team with an .871 slugging percentage.
Divine batted .409 with 41 runs scored. Her 126 put outs in the field were the 31st-most in Region VIII.
Martinez posted a .321 batting average with 15 home runs and 52 RBIs. He tallied 115 total bases, seventh-best in Region VIII.
