Game Recaps

Texas A&M 60, Georgia 48
N’dea Jones earned her trademark double-double against Georgia, hauling in 15 points and a game-high 12 rebounds to record her 12th double-double of the season and 38th of her career.

Texas A&M improves to 16-1 with a 7-1 record in Southeastern Conference games and Georgia drops to 13-4 with a 5-4 mark in SEC play.

Kayla Wells finished with 13 points, going 6-of-11 from the field. Wells has scored in double figures for the seventh time this season and 57th of her career.

LSU 75, Ole Miss 66
Khayla Pointer led LSU with 25 points. She also had two assists and two rebounds. Faustine Aifuwa had another double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds, 10 of those coming on the defensive side of the ball. With her performance, she notched another double-double, her sixth of the season and the 16th of her career. Aifuwa is four blocks away from tying former Tiger Julie Gross (178; 1978-80). The 16 rebounds tied her single-game career high. Awa Trasi and Karli Seay each chipped in 13 points and four rebounds.

Donetta Johnson led Ole Miss with 18 points. Two others scored 12 points each.

Missouri 55, Kentucky 61
Rhyne Howard scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the 15th-ranked Kentucky women's basketball team held off Missouri 61-55 on Sunday at Memorial Coliseum.

Kentucky got 10 points and nine rebounds from Dre'una Edwards and seven points apiece from Robyn Benton and Chasity Patterson.

Missouri had missed the first 17 3s attempted in Sunday's matchup.

Missouri sophomore guard Aijah Blackwell put up her eighth double-double of the season, grabbing a career high 19 rebounds.

Auburn 67, Arkansas 77

Unique Thompson finished with 18 points and 19 rebounds, but a great start for Auburn gave way to a hot-shooting Arkansas team as the Tigers fell to the 19th-ranked Razorbacks 77-67 Sunday afternoon.

Thompson’s 18-point, 19-rebound effort was her 11th double-double of the season and 53rd of her career. Honesty Scott-Grayson added 17 points and led Auburn with three assists, and Keya Patton scored 10. Romi Levy had a career-high 12 rebounds along with eight points.

Amber Ramirez led Arkansas with 19 points and hit five 3-pointers. Chelsea Dungee added 16 and Destiny Slocum had 14.

Florida 65, Tennessee 79

Lady Vols sophomore Tamari Key had 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks, setting career highs in both points and blocks. It marks just the fourth triple-double in Lady Vol history, and the first since Jordan Reynolds notched one against UNCW on Dec. 29, 2016.

The Gators made eight 3-pointers, corralled 21 offensive rebounds and notched 10 steals but their fiery effort would not be enough to slow down the Lady Vols who won the rebounding battle 57-42 and blocked a season-best 14 shots, one shy of a program record.

Florida (9-8, 2-7 SEC) was led by Kiara Smith and Lavender Briggs who each had 23. Smith added 10 rebounds to her point total to record a double-double.

Alabama 63, South Carolina 87

Gamecocks' Henderson finished with 14 points, second on the team, to go with 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Zia Cooke scored 21 points to help South Carolina win its 18th straight over Alabama and 28th in a row over SEC opponents.
