UConn 90, Arkansas 87

Both teams were very well coached this evening and was needed to help grow the game.

Chelsea Dungee had a career night, going for a season-high 37 points on a 13 for 21 shooting night. 

Amber Rameriez chipped  in 22 points and had 5 straight points that helped change the game. 

UConn Freshman Paige Bueckers finished with 27 points in the losing effort. 

Missouri 61, Florida 58
Sophomore Lavender Briggs, finishing with her third career double-double, tallied a game-high 19 points to go with 11 boards while senior guard Kiki Smith scored 14 and added six rebounds. 

Missouri led for over 34 minutes, but UF limited Missouri, which entered the game shooting 55 percent from the field on the season, to just 33.3 percent shooting and outrebounding the Tigers, 54-47.


Alabama 68, Kentucky 81

Robyn Benton had a season-high 15 points for the Cats, while Dre'una Edwards and Chasity Patterson each had 10.  Kentucky made 52.6 percent from the field, its second-highest percentage of the season. 

 

South Carolina 75, Mississippi State 52

Ole Miss 67, Tennessee 68

LSU 60, Georgia 52

Tiara Young finished with 17 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Young had a strong night from the charity stripe going 5 of 6 (83.3%).

Senior Khayla Pointer became the eighth player in LSU women’s basketball history to dish out 400 career assists with her first one of the game. She finished with six assists, six rebounds, five points and four steals.

Texas A&M 84, Auburn 69
Texas A&M climbs to 15-1 overall with a 6-1 mark in SEC play. A&M is now 7-1 on the road.

N’dea Jones led the team with 23 points and 12 rebounds, recording her 11th double-double of the year, which is tied for the most in the country.
