Early this morning, former Northwestern basketball player and CNN reporter Omar Jimenez was arrested on national TV while reporting from the scene of the riots. The police say they arrested Jimenez and his crew for not backing up, however, as you can see in the video they were in an area that they were told they could be in and they were respectful the entire time. 

Jimenez played two seasons at Northwestern, from 2011-13. He appeared in 25 games and averaged 2.4 minutes per game.
