Morehead State Women's Basketball Inks Two Junior College Transfers

Morehead State head coach Gregg Todd announced the signings of two junior college  transfers.

Point Guard Fredrionna "Freddy" Adams, joins the Eagles from Dodge City (Kan.) Community College.  Adams was named All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference in 2019-20 after averaging 8.8 points, 4.4 assists, 1.5 steals and hitting 34 percent from three-point distance. Adams tabulated 12 games with five or more assists, including games with 12 and 11 assists late in the season.

As a freshman in 2019-19, she averaged 5.3 points and 2.3 assists while pacing the team with 35 steals.
Guard Darryn Zeigler, a transfer from Moberly Community College, helped her team to a 29-4 finish and a berth in the NJCAA Tournament in 2019-20. During the season, the 5-foot-11 ball handler averaged 7.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.

Zeigler will be a redshirt sophomore with three seasons of eligibility remaining when she takes the court for Morehead State in the 2020-21 season.
