Northwest Florida State added Kira Mosley, Claire Simmons, Nashani Gilbert- Taylor

Head Coach Bart Walker inked three signees to the 2020 signing class. The 2020 class so far is a great addition to an already great group of returnees. The Raiders have versatile scoring, athleticism, and size. 

Kira Mosley @MosleyKira

Kira is a 6'2" stretch 4 that can really shoot it. She has great basketball IQ on both ends of the floor and can guard multiple positions. Mosley is a transfer from Division 2 Northwest Missouri State. 

Claire Simmons @clairesimmons02

Claire Simmons is a 5'9" combo guard from Louisville, Kentucky. She is an athletic specimen with a deadly mid-range game. The elite defender can guard 1-3, chosing Northwest Florida State over Wabash Valley. 

Nashani Gilbert- Taylor @NashaniGilbert 

Gilbert is a 5'10", athletic wing that brings versatility on both ends of the floor. She is a proven leader, plays with a high motor, and is a lock-down defender. Offensively, she can do it all: excellent floater, gets downhill and scores at the rim with the best players, can extend out to 3 and really shoot it, and has great vision for a big guard.

Northwest Florida made three consecutive national tournament appearances. Under Walker, Northwest Florida has advanced to the Elite Eight in each of the last two seasons.
