College Basketball Awards: Who won the World Exposure NJCAA Division III coaching awards?

Today, we are unveiling the World Exposure NJCAA Division III postseason coaching awards.

HEAD COACH OF THE YEAR: Mark  Leszczyk, MassasoitMark  just finished his second season as the head coach of the Massaoit women's basketball program in 2019-20. He boasts one of the most successful NJCAA women's basketball coaching resumes in the country. This season,  his team was ranked No. 1 most of the season in the World Exposure NJCAA Division III women's basketball poll. In addition, his team finished 1st in the nation for points per game (92.1), 1st in field goals made per game (38.2), 2nd in steals per game (20.8), and 3rd in the nation for assists per game (20.3). Not only they had the best offensive in the nation, they had the 4th best defense in Division III Junior College women's basketball. They only allowed 49.4 points per game. 


ASSISTANT COACH OF THE YEAR: Dominique Winstead, HostosWinstead finished her fifth season on the Hostos bench this season. She has helped the program capture four consecutive CUNYAC Championships (2017-2020), four consecutive Region XV Championships (2017-2020) and back to back NJCAA National Championship titles in 2018 and 2019.
