Four finalists for 2020 NJCAA Division 1 World Exposure's Women's Assistant Coach of the Year announced

The 2020 NJCAA Division 1  World Exposure  Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach of the Year Award finalists were announced today by World Exposure Report and include Nate Macy (Casper), Zack Banks (Northwest Florida State), Rabun Wright (Florida SouthWestern) and Precious Ivy (Trinity Valley). All four finalists are set to tip off in the NJCAA Tournament next week.

About the finalists:


Nate Macy, Casper College
Nate is in his third season at Casper College. In his 3 years at Casper College he has helped lead Casper College with an overall 87-13 record , 2 Region 9 Championships and 2 NJCAA Division 1 National Tournament appearances. Casper is currently ranked 8th in the nation for Opponents' Field Goal Percentage-32.8. 



 

 

Zach Banks, Northwest Florida State
Zach is in his third season at Northwest Florida State. He has helped Head Coach Bart Walker with two Elite Eight appearances at NWF and 1 National Tournament appearance at Motlow State. Northwest Florida. This year's team claimed the FCSAA Tournament Title with a 57-55 win over Gulf Coast. 

 

 

Rabun Wright, Florida SouthWestern
Rabun is in her 2nd year at Florida SouthWestern.  Overall, she has helped the Bucs to a 54-11 record the last two seasons. In addition, FSW women's basketball has made two straight trips to the NJCAA National Tournament. 



 

Precious Ivy, Trinity Valley
Precious is in her first year at Trinity Valley and has assumed the tile of interim head women's basketball coach on Jan. 9th. Since being named the head coach, TVCC has moved into the No. 1 spot on the World Exposure Poll. Her team is 32-1 and has won 18 straight games under her leadership. 

 

The 2020 NJCAA Division 1 World Exposure's  Women’s College Coach of the Year will be announced on March 16th, and the NJCAA National Tournament.
