Day 1 is now in the books out in Midland, Texas and here is a brief recap:

Florida Southwestern 75, Hill College 54 - An awful first quarter doomed Hill College. Nairimar Vargas Reyes finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 assists, and 1 block.

Kilgore 80, Salt Lake 65 - Kilgore shot only 41.7% from the field in this one as Kilgore was in control throughout. Annilia Dawn was aggressive from tip-off. She finished with 25 points and 4 rebounds. 

Trinity Valley 65, Odessa 59 - Taiyanna Jackson had 17 points and 16 rebounds on the day as TVCC was pushed by the Wranglers, but still had firm control.

Midland College 71, Seward County 58  - Grace Beasley had a big game with 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists for Midland.
